- 2 8 oz bricks of plain cream cheese softened at room temperature
- 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 2 cups parmesan cheese shredded
- 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/2 large red onion chopped
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 2 cups mushroom sliced
- 1.5 cups small pizza pepperoni slices
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and get ready to create a dip that'll steal the spotlight.
Sauté those delightful mushrooms in a pan on medium heat until they're tender and set them aside.
Sauté your pepperoni in that same pan on medium heat until it's slightly crisp and set it aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine your room-temperature cream cheese, the Italian seasoning and 1.5 cups of shredded Parmesan cheese, stirring until it's mixed well.
With your creamy mixture at the ready, spread it evenly on the bottom of an oven-safe deep dish.
For the second layer, evenly spread out the marinara sauce.
Next, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese atop the marinara, creating the third layer.
Evenly sprinkle the chopped onions, sautéed mushrooms, and chopped green bell pepper followed by the pepperoni.
Top it all off with the remaining Parmesan cheese and the shredded cheddar.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until it's bubbling with cheesy delight and golden on top.
